Mary did you know

your baby boy would one day be depicted in LEGO? Too late for my little run up to Christmas, but we're still in the season--on Christmas day Mariann Asanuma posted this great Madonna and child (more on Flickr). She says that maybe next year she'll do a whole nativity scene, so that's something to look forward to. I really think she did the baby Jesus best of all of the ones I featured, and I love that sheep as well.

Dynomite!

Lino Martins' Downtown Action Brown and Afro-Dite are the stars of a poster advertising a gig at a Seattle club. If you're in the area tomorrow, go down and support the Satellite 4, a band with obvious good taste in MOCing.

'Tis the season

As noted here previously, every year MisaQa presents an advent calendar project, revealing a new MOC each day. This year her theme is fantasy creatures. As she notes, scale is a bit subjective, but several of these seem to be roughly miniland scale, as with the minotaur and the satyr.

Edsels, meet the edsels, they're your modern 50's family

Okay, a bit of an older MOC, but Ralph Savelsberg (Mad Physicist) made this Edsel and accompanying family (and pooch).
